Manager/Network Analyst

In the position of Network Analyst, I manage and set the company direction on all infrastructure-related strategies.  This includes the company’s network and system security/compliance, virtual server environment, data center and network design, as well as specific services such as email and Voice-over-IP communications.  I also act in the capacity of Server/System Administrator, Exchange Administrator, Backup Administrator, Wide Area Network and Infrastructure manager, and Department Manager. Notable projects for which I have been responsible include:

·         Solely directing and implementing the design and construction of the company data center which hosts all mission critical systems.

·         Migration from Exchange 2000 to 2003, Exchange 2003 to 2007, and Exchange 2007 to Exchange 2010.

·         VMware Implementation at the data center, from design and new hardware integration to conversions of physical servers to virtual.

·         VoIP design and implementation across the entire enterprise, as well as its integration with Microsoft Exchange for unified communications.

·         Implementing a company wide area network infrastructure based on DS1 and DS3 circuits, which links all branch offices throughout the Kansas City area.

Other accomplishments include setting up a secondary wide area network for smaller locations based on VPN tunnel access, setting company security and disaster recovery policies, and being involved with the company President, CEO, and CFO to plan future technology initiatives.  As a department manager, I direct members of the department in daily operations and on specific assignments related to ongoing short and long term projects.
